  • A visionary leader for Fable Dance Co — A self-taught choreographer and visionary, Shevonne is a versatile performer, choreographer, instructor and mentor. She is best known for her unconventional choreographies, meticulous attention to details and focus on essentials.

    Extensive experience in performing for corporate events, concerts and television production. She believes in the power of dance to support outlets for expressions and connection with the intention to evoke beauty. Pole and aerial have then, invited curiosity to her in 2015. It didn’t take her long to be scouted and has been in this industry ever since. Dance Head at SLAP Dance Studio’ 21-23.

    Choreographically, Shevonne has created countless sellout choreographies. From pole lyrical to pole exo, aerial silk to aerial hoop, to aerial hammock. She also choreographed for events such as THE RING at Marquee'22 & 23, co-choreographed for SLAP Dance Studio Recital 2023 instructor item.

    With her vast experience and skill set, it is clear why Shevonne is a sought-after instructor in this pole & aerial industry. Whether teaching or choreographing, Shevonne is committed to creating unforgettable experiences for her students, for the audiences.

  • The heartbeat behind Fable Dance Co. — Celebrated for her unruffled poise, Charlene has played a prominent role in the industry for the past 15 years — serving as a coach, performer, and studio owner.

    She took the stage at the Youth Olympics Games ‘10, Asian Pole Summit ‘08, Miss Pole Dance Singapore ‘08-10, Miss Pole Dance SEA ‘11, W!LD RICE ‘08-11. Charlene produced the Asia Pole Championship ‘16-19 and was co-founder/ owner of SLAP ‘14-’23.

    Featured in Channel News Asia, Straits Times, Business Times, and The Smart Local, Charlene is recognized for her groundbreaking work in dispelling stereotypes and elevating pole dance into the realm of athletic performance art and mainstream fitness within our vibrant pole and aerial community today. Beyond the dance scene, Charlene is a full level STOTT Pilates certified instructor and a mom of two adorable munchkins!

  • Mentor for Fable Dance Co. — Naoko Enomoto is a distinguished figure in the world of pole dance, with a background deeply rooted in ballet and contemporary dance arts. Naoko brings a unique blend of technical precision, artistic expression, and unwavering passion to her role as an instructor. Her journey into pole dance began in 2009, marking the inception of a remarkable career that has since captivated audiences worldwide. Naoko's dedication to her craft, coupled with her innate talent, has propelled her to the forefront of the pole dance community.

  • Angelene is an accomplished and versatile performer, choreographer, and instructor, best known for her imaginative choreography and captivating stage presence. Her dance training began at five years old and includes ballet, jazz, and street styles.

    Nearly a decade ago, Angelene started teaching pole dance after she was scouted to join the pioneering batch of Slap Dance Studio scholars. There, she continued to teach as a senior instructor until 2023, delivering her crowd-favourite choreographies to continually sold-out classes. Her journey includes memorable performances at the Asia Pole Championships in 2016 and 2017.

    Angelene has competed in dance competitions in Japan, the USA, the UK, China, Australia, and Singapore, earning prestigious accolades along the way. One notable highlight was winning the 'Best Female Dancer' award at the United Dance Organisation's Street Dance Championships in Australia (2017).

    She has been featured in Vogue Singapore, Cosmopolitan Singapore, The Straits Times, Lianhe Zaobao, and Mothership, and in campaigns for fashion brands Love Bonito, Yeomama Batik, and Supertone.

    Angelene’s commitment to a high quality of movement and performance owes to her reverence of the stage and the body’s potential.

  • Sparkles, sunshine, a tinge of glitter, a sprinkle of magic and a whole load of PINK are just a few words that can be used to describe her personality.

    Marika discovered her love for performing when she first danced on stage at the age of 4. In school, she pursued other genres including Jazz, Modern dance, Hip Hop, Lyrical and Contemporary. Aside from dancing, she has also dabbled in other performance skills such as stilts and aerial stunt flying.

    Throughout her performing life, she has been given many opportunities to be involved with various school institutions in Singapore as both a dancer and choreographer. This has led her to performing in the Youth Olympic Games opening and closing ceremony in 2010 and Chingay 2012 as a dancer, as well as the National Day Parade 2016 as an aerialist. She has also been part of competing teams for the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) and The Royal Dance Off (TRDO).

    She discovered pole in late 2016 and started teaching in 2018, as she fell in love with the versatility of how the sport combined dance, flexibility and strength. Aside from pole, she has also had the opportunity to dabble in other aerial apparatus such as hoop, hammock & lollipop. She has performed in the opening teachers item for the Asia Pole Championships 2017, THE RING White Collar Boxing show event at Marquee, in a music video for Tetiana V and eventually went on to choreograph items for Student Recitals during her time with SLAP dance studio.

  • Crystal started dancing at the age of 3 and continued into her late teens, where she attended ballet classes, dabbled in gymnastics and joined school dance clubs and performances up till her late teens.

    She began her pole and aerial journey in 2019 and started teaching at SLAP Dance Studio in late 2020. Since then, Crystal has choreographed for and performed in the 2023 SLAP Recital, and performed for external events under SLAP Dance Studio.

    Crystal loves the fact that pole requires both strength and grace, and that it empowers dancers from all fitness backgrounds and walks of life. She finds joy in helping students unlock tricks and nail choreographies and believes that training should be an equal balance of fun and challenging.

  • A man of few kind words. The epitome of brutal honesty, in words and facial expression. What started out as an experimental class for him transformed into a gratifying commitment in his last 13 years.

    Jacques started out pole dancing as a struggling minority, overcoming challenges with each stride, and is now adept at dissecting moves for his students and fellow teachers alike. He takes great pleasure in watching stumbling students learn, as he recognizes that owning a learning curve is not a privilege everyone gets.

    He co-assisted in choreographies for Student Recital in Years 2017, 2018 and 2023 during his time with SLAP Dance Studio. In an attempt to dismiss the label associated between Pole/Aerial fitness and men, Jacques was featured in AUGUSTMAN magazine in Year 2020, and THESMARTLOCAL Singapore in Year 2022.

  • Rebecca started pointing her toes in 2015 when she chanced upon pole dancing with her friends. She was intrigued by the different shapes and expressions one could create, and is continually awed by the strength and control it takes to execute tricks well. With no prior dance experience, she understands the mental and physical struggle of battling awkward limbs.

    Exploring different apparatus in her aerial journey, Rebecca has had the privilege to choreograph and perform in various corporate events and recitals, including TEDx 2023 and the SLAP Dance Studio Recital 2023. Having been musically trained from young, Rebecca has developed a deep appreciation for how different instruments weave and come together in a song. Similarly, she enjoys exploring how different tricks and combos flow with the nuances and dynamics in various genres of music.

  • Physiotherapist during clinic hours and a lover of the immersive world of dance where she experiences the freedom of expression and creativity. With a foundation rooted in ballet since the age of 5, Sharon loves exploring various dance styles and enjoys movement combined with musicality - exploring it, dancing it, watching it and even analyzing it!

    She embarked on her aerial journey purely to geek out on another dance genre and found herself loving the challenges that came her way. Sharon was the winner of SLAP dance studio’s first ever SLAP Showdown freestyle dance competition in 2016. She has performed in multiple student recitals, year-end showcases both as student and instructor performing her pen choreographies too.

  • As a rhythmic gymnast in her early teens, Nicole had a natural inclination towards Pole Dancing and Aerial Sport due to its combination of athletic endeavours and performance art. Beginning as a shy and self-conscious novice, she found confidence within herself as she mastered new genres and tricks, hoping to share this empowerment with others.

    She is captivated by the endless possibilities within this sport, where the journey offers continual opportunities for learning, growth, and self-challenge. This journey has cumulated in various milestones which include becoming a finalist in EXOGENERATION COMPETITION 2023 and participating in various performances (Marquee, End of year Showcase and Dance Recital).

  • Cherilyn is a passionate pole and aerial hoop instructor with a strong background in contemporary dance. Her prior training in professional dance companies and school clubs has shaped her into a disciplined and committed artist today.

    Just after a year of learning pole dance, Cherilyn started teaching the craft in 2021. With time, she incorporated aerial hoop and pole heels into her repertoire, and began choreographing her own routines. Cherilyn enjoys teaching both choreography as well as advanced tricks in her classes, and aims to help students build their strength, grace, and confidence through pole and aerial arts.

    Besides teaching, Cherilyn has a wealth of performance experience in dance, pole, and aerial hoop. Her most memorable performance was a self-choreographed aerial hoop piece at Aerial Open Stage 2023 at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre.

  • Asa is a certified Hatha/Iyenga yoga teacher, competitive dragon boater, climber and pole dancer. She found her first love with pole dancing in 2015 at Ecole De Pole Singapore. For her, pole dancing is not only a fitness, but also self-expression in variety ways. Static flow is her favourite on the pole, integrating with handstand and QDR movements. Asa had shared her passion with family and friends by teaching yoga, pole, lyra and body workout in Thailand and Taiwan since 2017. Asa won the 2nd runner up in woman amateur category, AirSTAR 2017, Taiwan. She is also Animal Flow L1 certified instructor in 2019.

  • A passionate pole dancer since 2019, Natasha brings a rich background in dance, with significant experience in ballet, contemporary, and Chinese dance. Dancing since childhood, Natasha went on to formally study dance at School Of The Arts, Singapore, undergoing 6 years of intensive and rigorous training across multiple dance disciplines. During her time with the school, she was regularly performing and working with renowned local and overseas choreographers.

    Natasha’s love for movement and the human body constantly drives her to explore and break down intricate shapes, with a particular focus on those that require exceptional flexibility.

    Natasha’s vibrant personality and commitment to fostering a positive class community allows her to find joy in teaching and sharing the art of pole and aerial dance. She hopes that this intersection of art and athleticism inspires others to embrace the beauty of creative expression and find a point where strength meets grace.

  • Lynna’s journey in movement and dance began in 2006 when she joined a cheerleading team. Having discovered a newfound love for movement, Lynna went on to explore a multitude of dance genres including belly dance, salsa, bachata, heels, ballet, jazz, and contemporary. She has also taken the stage to perform at Latin dance conventions locally and abroad with Salsa Cubana Singapore.

    Lynna started pole and aerial arts classes in 2016 and 2018. In 2019, Lynna won the title of Miss Sexy at the Brass Barre's annual Amateur Night competition. She has been

    sharing her love for the art as an instructor since early 2020, and has never looked back. She appreciates the versatility, grace and athleticism that the art has to offer.

    Lynna is also a certified barre instructor at one of Asia's leading barre studios. She regularly teaches barre classes inspired by ballet, yoga, pilates & strength training to clients across all fitness levels in Singapore.

    Lynna enjoys creating and learning, and hopes to inspire others to do the same through her teaching. With a keen eye for shapes and lines in dance, she aims to help others find their best selves through movement.

  • Mia’s dance journey didn’t begin in the traditional way. At the age of three, she was selected for the local gymnastics team but after the first day of intense training, she refused to go back. When her mom introduced her to Chinese dance at age four, Mia quickly decided it wasn’t for her either. Although she briefly dabbled in ballet and salsa during university, it wasn’t until 2012 that Mia discovered pole dancing—and she hasn’t looked back since.

    Her passion for pole grew when she joined Slap Dance Studio, where Mia transitioned from a dedicated student to a pole dance instructor by 2015. For her, pole dancing is more than just movement—it’s a powerful way to explore strength, flexibility, and confidence. Mia firmly believes that it’s never too late to find your passion, and the process of discovering it is just as rewarding as the journey itself.

    In addition to pole, Mia is a calisthenics enthusiast, always seeking new ways to challenge her body. She’s excited to help students unlock their full potential at Fable Dance Studio, guiding them to explore, grow, and embrace the empowering joy of movement.

  • Commencing her artistic odyssey at the esteemed Singapore Ballet Academy at the tender age of 4, Gemma has ceaselessly forged ahead, leaving no room for retrospection. Her insatiable curiosity led her to explore an array of dance styles, including cheerleading and rhythmic gymnastics during her formative years, thereby nurturing her profound affection for the performing arts.

    In January 2022, she became enamored with the Pole & Aerial industry, swiftly garnering recognition as a scholar at SLAP dance studio. Within a short span of time, she ascended to the role of a junior teacher, choreographing and imparting her expertise across various levels and styles of Pole. Her unwavering passion and charismatic persona have consistently captivated students, compelling them to return for more.

    Gemma's remarkable talent graced the stage in performances such as THE RING at Marquee and the SLAP’s End of Year Showcase. Additionally, she played a pivotal role in the 2023 SLAP Dance Studio Recital, lending her invaluable assistance. She’s been featured on HEYKAKI's YouTube channel, where she shared her expertise, enlightening talents on the fundamentals of Pole dancing.

  • Jun Hui began her classical ballet training at the age of 5 and was first exposed to contemporary dance in 2014 in her university days. She was a member of Sigma Contemporary Dance in 2021 and subsequently The Human Expression Second Company (T.H.E) from 2022 - 2023, where she further honed her contemporary dance training through performing in various company works namely Civil Twilight and LiTHE 2022/2023.

    In 2021, Jun Hui expanded her repertoire into the world of pole and aerial and never stopped since. She finds joy seeking out movement fluidity in strength and grace, and is looking forward to creating and growing with the Fable Dance Co family.

  • Juanne commenced her dance journey with Strictly Dance Zone, her school's dance crew, as a modern dancer in her late teens. In the latter part of 2020, she delved into the world of pole and aerial arts.

    Over the past year at Slap Dance Studio, Juanne taught aerial hoop and pole across all levels. Her recent choreographies are for intermediate and advanced lyrical pole.

    Juanne possesses a discerning eye for unique, less-explored shapes, finding joy in experimentation and troubleshooting unconventional tricks. She stresses the significance of dance lines, styling and precision in executing choreographic accents.

    As an adjunct lecturer at a polytechnic institution, Juanne aims to leverage her teaching experience to help students comprehend the intricacies of various pole and aerial tricks.
